16 Year Old Driver Ejected from Vehicle in Adams County Crash

ADAMS COUNTY, IN - The Indiana State Police responded to a report of a single vehicle personal injury crash, at approximately 6:42 pm this evening, which sent the 16 year old driver to the hospital with reported head trauma because she had been ejected from her vehicle.

Traffic Stop in Whitley County Leads to Meth Related Arrest

CHURUBUSO, IN - A Whitley County woman and a Noble County man were arrested this morning after the van they were driving in was stopped for a traffic violation and precursors for a meth lab were discovered inside of it. 

At approximately 8:15 am, Senior Trooper Roy Stuckey observed a blue 2000 Dodge Caravan traveling southbound on US 33 north of County Road 550 N as it was passing another vehicle in a no passing zone.  As Stuckey turned around, the van turned onto 550 N and into a private driveway in the 8000 E block of that road. 

Muncie Native Artist on Extreme Makeover

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Muncie native Eric Ward put his talents to work on a recent episode of ABC’s television series, Extreme Makeover Home Edition set in Indianapolis. Ward was the airbrush artist in Courtney McFarland’s “executive” style bedroom. The 14-year-old boy hopes to become a businessman one day, and the bedroom was designed to inspire him to achieve his goals.

State Health Officials Ask Hoosiers to Take Steps to Prevent Mosquito Borne Illnesses

Public service announcements kick off clean air initiative

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Megan Meadors, Miss Indiana 2008, has teamed up with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) to create the agency's new Clean Air Indiana public service announcements (PSAs). In them, Meadors touts IDEM's message that "it's up to us to preserve air quality for future generations by driving less, idling less, and by walking or riding a bike more."

Four People and One Dog Sent to Hospital after Construction Zone Crash

PERU, IN -  morning, at approximately 10:10 a.m., officers from the Indiana State Police and the Miami County Sheriff’s Office responded to a three vehicle crash on U.S. 31 at State Road 218, which injured four people.  Preliminary investigation by Master Trooper Randy Pryor revealed that a 2004 Freightliner tractor trailer driven by Junior Graham, 39, Sturgis, MI, was stopped on northbound U.S. 31 for a red light at the intersection of State Road 218.
